October photo favorites

I know these are blurry, but I love how giddy Paige was when Ellie was giving her a "check up".

^ Whenever Ellie sees a puddle she wants to jump in it!

^ So glad I finally got a picture of the girls loving on Steven after he'd been gone for a little while one day. They seriously get so happy like this bascially every single time. 

Going on a quick drizzaly walk to a store nearby. The girls enjoyed it, despite these looks! ha

^ Paige has been getting herself in her rocking chair (or Ellie's) and usually brings a book. 

And I can't get over that lounge. haha

^ Took her socks off and tried one of big sis's dress up shoes on all by herself. 

^ Ellie wanted to wear her jean jacket to match me! (And you'll see that this month she had a thing about sticking her tongue out for pictures...)

^ This girl still sucks on her fingers. And even though we're trying to get her to stop that habit, I can't help but automatically think of her as a 6 month old doing this, which makes me think time has gone so fast. 

This top photo, and few below, are of Ellie and I on her 1st school field trip to the pumpkin patch. Even though we ended up going to a pumpkin patch twice in one week (previously with friends), we weren't complaning! 

^ We were on a walk and Ellie wanted me to take a couple pictures of her! 

^ I think this was her first time painting a pumpkin!? Such concentration. 

^ These two (insert heart eyes). We love seeing their friendship grow. 

Got invited to our friends house for some leaf pile fun!

^ Always wanting to "help" hold the shopping list.

^ Paige started using a fork and was an automatic pro! 

Paige was laughing so much in these photos as Ellie was hugging her 

(not choking her, as it may look)!

4th Annual Pumpkin Patch

We had a wonderful time with some of our closest friends (who some have joined us for the last 2 and 3 years at the patch)! This year there were two new little ones as well, and that was fun! We also went to a different patch then we have the last several years, so that made it even more enjoyable; checking out all the new activities, pumpkins...and food! 

^ Near where you walk into the farm there are bins with pre-picked pumpkins and Ellie went straight to them. She was saying, "I want this one and this one and this one..." (We did put them back because I explained to her we were first going to see what we could find at the actual patch.)

Ellie wanted Paige to ride with her and it was so cute! 

They had a good time together, despite the photo below.

^ This girl would explore anywhere by herself, anytime, if we let her! 

^ This one was just a little excited to be on the hayride! 

(Side note/story: Earlier that day Ellie had school and it was picture day. She asked if I could curl her hair like mine and I replied, "I can totally do that!" Her usual request is just to have her hair down with a bow - nothing else done to it, otherwise, she'll kind of get "upset". Maybe because I wanted her outfit to be a little nicer, she thought her hair should be as well?? Not sure. But it was cute to have her ask for that, with no pushing from me!)

Paige was trying to pick up the pumpkins (picture above). 

And when they were too heavy and she realized she couldn't hold them, she cried (picture below). 

(It was pushing her dinner time and emotions were a little high.)
