About Us

Hi, I’m Kaitlin (aka Kait) and I was born and raised in Oregon surrounded by a big loving family! Went to Idaho for college for two years and while I was there I met the man of my dreams, Steven, who I am blessed to call my husband. He was born and raised in Alaska (yep, that’s right ALASKA…the land of the midnight sun part of the year and near 24 hour darkness another part of the year…and let’s not forget the -50° weather!). I signed up for that grand adventure when we got married in 2008. Steven's family is there and I’ve been lucky to call them my family as well. Then, in 2014 we moved back to Idaho! And on February 5, 2015 we were blessed with a new addition, our girl Ellie. She is such a joy to the both of us and being a parent is one of the most amazing things in the world! Then, on June 3, 2017 we welcomed another little girl, Paige! 

You can find us hanging out with our girls, friends, hiking, reading or watching movies and laughing.  I am lucky to say I'm a stay at home mom and I love being creative with my life.  Steven is a very dedicated, selfless husband who is so happy to provide for us. We are excited to see where God takes us as we follow His lead.

Like I shared in my very first post I decided on the name ‘Norris Lane’ because Norris is our last name and Lane, because a lane is where you live, love, it’s where you are and it can be where you’re going, too. And I want people to see where we are and where we are going….follow us along our journey.
