September photo favorites

^ First day of Pre-K! Ellie had been a little nervous and excited about her new class. She was about to cry when we were starting to leave her on the first day, but the teacher made her feel better right away. Then, when we picked her up she was jumping with joy, from having such a great time in class. Each day she went she was less and less sad/nervous, more and more brave and so very glad to be there.

While Ellie was at her first day of school we had some one on one time with Paige. It had been a little while since we had that and we were all loving our time together.

Both our girls are always wanting to try on the accessories.

Paige has been hiking on her own for awhile now and she tries to keep up with Ellie.
I hope their love of the outdoors only grows as they get older.

^ "Dress!" - Paige (wearing one of my tank tops)

^ Paige usually wants to do and have what her sister does, ie wearing a back pack. She gets a little sad and misses her sister while she's gone at school, but this cheers her up a little ; )

^ Picking flowers in the front yard and Ellie thought my hair needed some colorful additions, and also wanted to take this photo so I could see.

^ Paige is still the most cuddliest kid

^ Steven had to work on his birthday, but we wanted to let him know that we were thinking of him while he was gone. And we were able to celebrate with a party a couple days before!

^ Date night! Hiked to one of our favorite spots in town. It was nice to hike at our pace and have some nice converstation. Then, we ended the night with tacos from one of our favorite spots - Tin Roof Tacos!

^ Crumbl cookies is highly recommended by all in our family.
(trying to wait patiently for our cookies)

Botanical Garden fun with some friends and Paige, while Ellie was at school.

^ There are many things Ellie wants to help Paige with still...getting her dressed being one of them sometimes. Paige is getting more and more independent, wanting to do a lot of things on her own. So when they are nicely getting along in this scenario I had to take a photo - there are still sweet moments.

^ Took Paige on a walk, but she insisted the little Barbie be put in the seat, with the buckle, her water next to her AND help push the stroller. We would also stop ever so often so she could give the Barbie a drink.

^ Enjoying the FIRST DAY OF FALL with a family walk.

^ Ice cream mustache!

^ Selfie by Ellie

^ Haven't snapped a photo of this girl sleeping in awhile and couldn't help myself. Plus, I want to make record of how she's been sleeping with this Ty Baby Moose named Chocolate for several months now. It's funny the things they cling to.
