January + February photo favorites

JANUARY....

^ Saying goodbye to dad before he leaves for work.
They always want a hug and a kiss, just like their mama ; )

^ Ellie made us some bead crowns, and the monkey, too of course!

^ Post nap cuddles, which she basically demands.
Sometimes I wish she wasn't so clingy at this time, but in reality, I savor these moments with her.

Their faces crack me up! The sun was a little bright. And the moment Paige laid down she wasn't a fan of snow angel making any more!

^ There wasn't a ton of snow, but by golly, these girls wanted to make a snowman and so we did!

^ Paige has gone in spurts of loving this dress up outfit we got from friends. It is fancy, so I can't blame her for being drawn to it!

^ Ellies doing.

^ Steven took the girls on a walk while I rested at home. This winter has been so mild and there have been many beautiful days. We love where we live.

Picture for Steven above and picture for me below.

^ Our family by Ellie.

FEBRUARY...

^ Playdate with friends.

The picture above and below is from Ellie's birthday.
Above: Paige and Lily were playing in Ellie's room while Ellie was distracted. These girls get into mischief with one another...
Below: Paige just trying to ride the pinata swan like a horse - no big deal. Ha!

^ We have a FIVE-year-old as of February 5th! Crazy!

Fun at the aquarium!

The next few photos are from the Boise Capital building...

^ "Elsa's dress!" - Paige (It's not, though I can see why she said it.)

^ My in-laws were here for about a week. We had a wonderful time with them and Ellie especially loved having them here for her birthday!

^ There are so many girlfriends from church and they all adore baby Rosie!

^ Paige doing Ellie's hair. I love capturing some sweet moments between these girls.
They are the best of friends and the worst of friends.

^ Paige has been obsessed with this book for weeks. She brings it with her all over the house, flipping through it and tries to recite what she remembers what each page says. At this particular moment, she was reading to her baby.

^ These ladies and I planned a Galentine's Day event for moms at our church. I am always praying for the community of women at our church and I am grateful for the friendships I've been blessed with the last several years we've been here.

^ This year's valentine's was really special. I woke up to Ellie wishing me Happy Valentine's day right away and giving me a piece of paper with my first clue for a scavenger hunt (Steven said the girls had a lot of fun picking spots for all the clues). At the end of the hunt, I found a handmade card and bottles of Diet Dr. Pepper (my fav). And Steven had placed on the table a card from him and some more gifts!
When Steven asked Ellie what she wanted to get me she said, "Diet Dr. Coke." ( I do drink Diet Coke often as well.)

^ I want these to be a Valentine's Day morning tradition - heart pancakes!

^ I also want making cookies and decorating them on Valentine's Day be a tradition as well!

^ Ellie showing off some of the Valentine's gifts she got from a couple classmates.

^ The newest bestie - Liam, who is such a cutie! We are so grateful for our friends and the friends our girls get to be with as well! And they can just keep having babies, so I can get my baby fix in ; )

^ "I fancy!" - Paige
She's always getting into my shoes.

^ Ellie wanted me to take her photo next to some of her lego creations. Literally every day she is coming up with something to build and it's been so fun to see her creativity.
