July photo favorites

Independence Day fun!
Photo below: one of the kids initiated a cheers and I had to capture it, blurry and all.

Road trip to Grants Pass, Oregon (my, Kait's, home town). The girls did well all things considered...it's about a 9.5 hour drive one way. It helped that they took a nap!

^ All around downtown there are these special bears, decorated/in costumes and this was one of the favs.

^ I had to take the girls to a classic place called the Grants Pass Pharmacy to get phosphates drink.

^ Grammie wanted to have special time with the girls in their newly built greenhouse.

^ Tradition - take a photo of us 4 girls together during each visit!

^ I can never get over all the beautiful trees on the drive.

^ Steven went on a 3 day/2 night backpacking trip and Ellie made this banner all by herself for dad to see when he got back. Her thoughtfulness never ceases to amaze me.

Paige rocked her well check and so a treat commenced afterwards (she picked Sonic). She has always had a hard time at doctor visits, crying basically the whole time and not talking to the nurse or doctor. BUT this time she didn't even shed one tear and talked to everyone well! Major progress for sure.

^ We love exploring trails and there was no shortage of that this summer.

^ These top 3 photos were done by Paige. Last photo is a cat...a not so happy cat? haha

^ Elsa by Ellie for Paige

^ Ellie drew her riding her bike, with Steven running next to her. He gets a good workout running next to her.

^ I would say this movie is one of the girls' favorite movies. Paige picks it more than Ellie, too. One day Paige even hollered "Navajo!!"  several times in one day, like Marva Sr. says during one scene. It was hilarious how random it was and how well she impersonated her.

Photo above: water adventures with friends.
Photo below: one on one time with Paige.

Lucky Peak, Sandy Beach.
Steven and the girls went on a paddle board for the first time and Ellie even wanted to row herself.
There were no falls in the water!
